Title Location Start Time End Time Description ContentTypeId Mar 16-17 Progress Monitoring and IEP Training KEDC, Ashland 3/16/2010 9:00 AM 3/17/2010 4:00 PM Day 1 - Progress Monitoring This two day training focuses on establishing a systematic collection of data to continuously monitor student progress toward annual goals and short term objective.   **This training is a Prerequisite for the IEP training**   Day 2 - Understanding and Writing IEP’s The focus of this training is to guide participants through the process of using student performance data to develop the following sections of an IEP:  Consideration of Special Factors, Transition, Present Levels of Educational and Functional Performance, Annual Goals and Objectives/Benchmarks, Methods of Evaluations/Review of Progress, Specially Designed Instruction, Supplemental Aids and Services, Assessment Accommodations, Modifications/Supports for School Personnel, Related Services, Least Restrictive Environment, and Extended School Year Services.  An explanation of the Kentucky Administrative Regulations as it relates to each section of the IEP will be given.  Implementation, Progress Monitoring, and Progress Reporting will also be addressed.   Apr 1 Quality Transition IEPs KEDC, Ashland 4/1/2010 9:00 AM 4/1/2010 3:00 PM With student accountability focusing more on successful transitioning, members of the ARC need to be knowledgeable in how to address transition services on the IEP.  This session will focus on the essential elements needed to develop quality transition programming and how to document these needs and services on the IEP and conference summary.  This is a 5 hour training. EILA will be available.
